Team Bio
 

I have been living in Hawaii and on the road traveling around the world seeing all the sights for 22 years.

I won my first PWA World Title in 2000- that was a mighty big task taking down 11 Time World Champion Bjorn Dunkerbeck and it was very rewarding.

I continue to push myself year after year and strive for perfection. I love windsurfing, it will always be a part of me and it makes me who I am!

It has been the journey of a lifetime for me. Canyon Lake California is where it all started. I strive for excellence in everything I do and it has enabled me to be one of the best windsurfers on the planet.

Being a professional windsurfer has always been my dream. I have worked hard to get where I am and have enjoyed every moment of it.

I have had some major injuries in my days, and when I shattered my ankle in Gran Canaria in 2000, the doctors said my career was finished. Well that was good motivation!! Since winning the Freestyle Title in 2002, a large weight has been lifted off my back. I followed that up with back to back World Titles in the Supercross discipline in 2004 and 2005 and was 2nd in 2006!

Currently I am not competing on the World Tour any longer- I love the sport and don’t want to drag myself around the world anymore. I reside in Maui where I can go windsurfing whenever I want. I am busy doing private lessons and clinics around the world. I love teaching people and seeing them learn something they have been working on for more than 10 years- it is very rewarding!
