Wow, what a long short trip I just had. Arrived Wednesday then left Monday early in the morning. Had a great trip, we ended up doing a 28 mile race in Guadeloupe which was fun to get everything really nice and tired and then got to discover the island a bit. The race didn't go really as planned as I never received my baggage. I managed to borrow some of my gear that I sold to a friend of mine two years ago and lucky for me it had all my logos on and ready for action. So I got out on the 8.2 and 122 and did the best I could with what I had. It was great fun to be out in the water! We even got some surfing in and seeing Guadeloupe and Martinique was quite fun.
Well the photo business is really starting to take off. Just got a bunch of Butterfly Effect coverage published so that is pretty good. Check out Tatiana's blog for more details of upcoming events and plan up one of the next BE events.
Well I am just going for it right now! Trying to get more and more people to enjoy windsurfing and also enjoy buying items from the shop!!
One thing that I am really trying to accomplish is to bring some personality to windsurfing. I feel that most of the magazines only put in so much test and put so much emphasis on the gear rather than the riders. As you guys know I am an avid dirtbike fan and one of the fun things for me is to know the riders and who I like and who I cheer for at the events. This makes the events so much more fun to whatch. If I dont know the personality then I dont know who they are and so forth. So my goals for this spring, when I have time is to interview and try to get some personality into the sport. So keep checking in and I will keep plugging away. Also the more you guys tell your friends where to get that new Starboard Isonic you have always been wanting or the Gaastra Sails, right here at Pritchard Windsurfing, the more it motivates me to get out there and make cool videos and pictures for you guys.. so spread the love!!
