So I found my wipeout on the net.. Thats me going backwards over the falls.. I just shake my head.. What a kook.. Oh well. Just getting ready to head back out there and try to ride again. If the horse bucks you off.. you get back on!!

Well today went out to Jaws.. The biggest swell of the last 40 years I heard but it certainly wasn't that.. Luck for me cause I went up there and EVERYONE was there. All the big wave names were out in the line up. Laird, Dave, Ian Walsh, even Andy Irons was out there checking it out.. pretty intimidating but I still had to go for it. I went out dropped in on perfect wave, had a great ride then when to kick out of the west bowl and just as I went to get out of the wave, the west bowl pitched and threw me right over the falls landing on my back and getting washed like a rag doll in a washing machine. I thought I was going to come up and was almost at the surface when the wave just pulled me back down and held me under just long enough for me to pop up for one second right before I had to go back under the next wave. Not too much fun but I can say I got properly pounded at Peahi today. I have water coming out everywhere, my nose, my ears are full, and I am tired and ready for bed. I hop to see a photo of me going over the falls on my back.. What a KOOK!!

Well "the SEASON" has officially started and while Matt and I are running around today filling everyone's orders, there is still time to get your Christmas List filled right here at Pritchard Windsurfing.com...
