Well Matt just told me that the time is now to get some Tabou boards, I think you should get some Starboards but hey what do I know... Anyhow, he continues to take you through the range of boards. Now there is the 3s and the Da Curve added. Almost the full range of boards.. Man that guy is on it!! Anyhow go to the video page and check them out.
Well the trip from Bangkok to LAX was only 14 hour flight on the way back.. that is pretty cool. I am still working on some video stuff for you and maybe even a sneek peak at the Starboard Testing facility. You never know. But boy there is a reason that Starboard has won so many championships. They are testing like no one else. WE must have tested at least 9 differetn Isonic 122's. Pretty cool the way they do all there R&D.

Well, Thailand is a nice place. People are friendly wind is pretty good and great for testing the light air stuff. So far we have tested out the 122,133,111, and have been having some nice success. So that is always good. Other than that got a nice massage and maybe another one later on, but for only $7 for an hour massage you cant really pass that up!! I want to get some good shots but have yet to see anything too inspiring.
Not too much going on, so I will keep on posting some video stuff. Matt has been working hard to teach you guys about the new 2009 Tabou range of boards. He is really excited about all the new shapes and designs. This is a great time to get a new Christmas present under the tree. If you have any questions or need to find out where to pick one of these up for Christmas, send him an email and he is happy to help out.
The videos are always better for viewing if you watch it through the video page. Its bigger, takes the same amount of time to download and is just better. Maybe I should not even post them up here but oh well. If our lazy you can just watch it here. Otherwise check it out on the video page!
I am going to do this for my Starboard Isonic's when I get back. I am currently on my way to Thailand to do some 010 board testing. Should be fun.

Had some good surf over here on Maui. Today, started out slow but had some fun ones!! Been Surfing, stand up paddling, and some tow in's as well. Nothing Huge but some fun ones. Had a good day, a bit of a warm up since haven't surfed at Jaws in a year or so, so was a bit of a warm up!! Will get better as the days go on. Looks like there could be some Windsurfing at Jaws in the next few days!! We will see!! My friend Alex took these shots of me!! Not too bad!

By the way, Maui has been AMAZING!! The time is now to come over here. The wind is off and on but the weather is BEAUTIFUL and the waves are super, it is just a great time to be in Maui. I have been having tons of fun Stand UP paddle, Tow IN Surfing, we have been windsurfing as well. Life is good!!

Hookipa has still been really fun. We have been doing some slalom testing as well and getting them done and ready.
Well it has been windy here on Maui. Really windy.. Yesterday on a 4.5 Powered UP! and today on a 4.7.. Now that is pretty windy for Maui. Guys at Kanaha were on 4.0's and 3.5's I heard... Blasting.. Hookipa was really fun on the 4.7 day.. not that crowded, everyone having some fun.. Got a little bit of video so might put it up... Hope you guys are having as much fun as I am getting ready for Winter time. Looks like we are going to have a BIG swell coming.. But looks like no wind with it.. could be TOW IN time.. whooohoo.. that could be scary!! My friend Jazz took these shots for you guys!!Hope you enjoy!

Well besides being the gayest picture ever of me in the westuit, what do you think of the new look. We changed the video page up to make the videos bigger, we moved around some stuff in the shop trying to make it better?? I am working on a new pict for matt.. I will try and get him doing something even wierder.. maybe in speedos or something?? Oh well. I can handle most of the critism.. I mean I have this blog for almost two years now and I guess the thick skin is really growing on me.
How many times have you got your favorite spot all to yourself. Well for me it is not very often. After a week long break from the wind filled with amazing stand up paddle, biking, hiking, and fun times, I dusted of the windsurf gear and headed out. It was a little bit onshore with a east swell and I had a call from a friend of mine that my spot was going off. So I went for it, got in the car and drove for an hour and hit it! I arrived to nobody out, small reeling waves, with 5.0 wind and sunny skies. I was on it, rigged up and out there. I had some sick fun waves, the kind of waves that you realize why your windsurf. Over the years I have become picky, and never get too excited unless it is sick, and this was one of those days. It wasn't all time but it was fun. I reminded me of Baja with the ofshore winds and small down the line hittable waves. The Evil Twin board with the MFC twin fins in there were riding unreal. So much fun those boards are in the offshore conditions. Anyhow, it gave me some stoke that is for sure. Good to be a windsurfer.
Can you believe it.. Yep another new video.. I am powering them out now.. I got so much good feedback from you that I just cant get enough of the feedback. What doesn't kill you make's you stronger. Every comment goes into the next video and drives me to make it better and better. For this one I had to make it tough for you to find. I put it in the shop in hopes of someone buying a sail from me and being the first shop to sell one. You guys got any ideas on how I can sell more products on line?? I look at other on-line shops and I am like, the sites stay the same, they are not updated with rigging videos, and all the other rigging support that you can get from me... well if you have any feedback it is greatly appreciated. Does the shop look bad? is there not enough stuff in it? Do you want more new products?? Basically what I am asking is how can I recoup some of the costs of running the web site and keeping you guys stoked at the same time!!

The English is rather crappy (wave = vague) but it breaks down like this, there are two charts, one with the three PWA disciplines which crowns you as Overall World Champion and one which inludes the speed world cup and this crowns Peter Volwater as the overall wordl champion (much to my satisfaction being a Dutchie)
The author of the article states that by reintroducing the overall title you will get more wave/freestyle riders entering the slalom fleet, as taty Frans and Josh Angulo did and perhaps more slalom riders entering into the wave discipline, or freestylers entering into the wave discipline and vice versa.
Anyway just wanted to keep you posted on your latest world title and I am curious what your thoughts are on the reintroduction of the Overall World title and secondly who do you consider to be the better allround sailors out there.
