What are they? From my perspective half way around the word, they're interesting. It's always been difficult for artist's to find good subject matter. A professional will choose people (especially if they are paying for the pictures) much more than amateurs. People make the exciting and attractive photo's, though. I tried to capture an incredibly beautiful young girl in a bathing suit at the beach, yesterday. However, she and her family noticed the camera pointed in her direction so I took another photo of a windsurfer behind them. Optaining permission can be a big hassle. It's better, though, than getting punched out by some famous actor or irate mother.

Hi Kev,
Sign up to photo.net (it is free for the first 5 photos). You will get comment from photographers not windsurfers.
You wanted critique, here it comes. 3 sepia shots are not interesting in terms of composition. Two of them are not good subjects for shallow depth of field, as whatever is in focus is not a center of attention.
From all your shots I like the yellow flowers on the pavement in Barcelona. There I would have gone for even shallower DOF and focus on one flower.
Another one I like is the alley between buildings in Pozo. The BW photo of rings from the wedding is nice too, although a litte cliche.
Please feel free to return the ""blows"" http://photo.net/photos/Jawor

Compositionally speaking these shots on this post are quite evenly divided with something nearly always dividing the frame in half . I would think more in terms of thirds and also fg to bg in terms of depth .These pics although somewhat angled for depth could be pushed more .
I like the abstract quality to the close up of the wheels etc .
I can guarantee you this though - you take pictures better than I can windsurf hahaha .

Thanks for the comments. I would love to take people shots but I havent the people to really take shots of. To make good people shots I think you need people who want there pict taken or are at least willing to make it look like they wanted there pic taken. I ask my gf all the time to let me take shots of her but you could guess how that goes. The aspiring photog can wear out a hesitant model!
I go on a forum called fred miranda and it is great. You can post all you want and get tons of feedback. I mainly like looking at what good shots are and admiring the good photos.
The best thing about landscapes and such is you can practice all you want without needing anyone else!

About people, a lot of people will be somewhat flattered if you ask them to take their picture(not all of course) but this is a fact, so any people will do.
About random subjects. At any location there's always so much detail to capture. You make it special by taking the pic. But indeed the composition is crucial! Just keep your eyes open and take the time.

Kevin,
I am curious, what is it? It looks like something that rides the rails but only on one track. Looks unique. As for people to photograph. From a outsiders perspective, you have all the people of the world coming to you. The beautiful and the unique. Too bad they are trying to be something they are not in Maui, wearing clothes they normally would not, etc. I really like your work, keep it up!
BTW, I was cleaning the garage and found a cover photo of you when you were a Gorge Grom (didn't call them groms then). I showed it to my wife and she didn't believe me. I think it was 1991. Things change.

Kevin,
I really enjoy your photo shots. The thing to remember about anything you do like this is that everything falls somewhere on the scale. Some stuff is always better than the average, but its hard to score high on everything. The key is developing your eye. Like any investment strategy, playing for the long run is where the everything pays off. Also, learn to leverage off criticism. It's hard, and not everyone likes to be honest, but much can be learned by listening.
