So I need some new inspiration on what to talk about here. What are you guys most interested in hearing about? More tech stuff? People seemed to like the harness line thing? Do want to hear about gear? Or just my same old boring stories about my day?? Thanks for reading the blog and hope you are enjoying following my adventures!

I think you should take some blogging days off if you're not feeling it. Don't make it an assignment.

For myself, I like the gear talk. I like all tales of what it's like (and what you do) when you're 20 feet + in the air and flying. I like the on-the-water camera work.

I think you're doing a fine job with the blog!

i would be intersted what kind of sizes you use in your waveboards - for what conditions and how many kilos do you have.

Thanks
Chris

Keep doing what your doing. How cool to read up on what the best of the best does. Equipment, training on and off the water, diet, industry trends, whatever, just keep it up. Keep posting the pictures too.
Thanks
Jon

You are a cool guy for maintaining a blog for your fans. I like some of the suggestions that have already been posted primarily ...
- equipment
- training

What are some of your worst injuries? (This might give me the confidence to finally try a forward loop ... either that or the opposite!).

Also .. do the top pros make a good living out of windsurfing? I noticed that you sell your boards and some of your other gear.

I guess if you were earning millions each year, then maybe you wouldn't bother. You would just pass your boards back to Starboard or hand-out your boards to the crowd after your windsurfing comps.

Do you fly around first class, business or economy?

How do sponsorship contracts work? Are they specific with details on how many boards you are allowed each year? Are they free? Would Antoine just call up SB and ask for 10 new boards to be sent out asap? Are they performance based? What is an average value at the moment for some of the top pros? I know you cant give exact figures but would it be say $100/yr or $10,000/yr or $1,000,000/yr etc? Extra bonus for winning events?

Ongoing on the previous post, could too much commerce destroy the beauty of this sport?

For instance, say you earn a 20.000 for every event you win, wouldn't there be a killer(in the negatvive sence) competition instead of the more fair and sportive there is right now?

I agree with the others, how about some tech stuff, the training, experiences at the events but also keep the more personal posts and photoshoots.

I find your blog interesting just the way it is. Probably you think you write some boring staff, but honestly, believe it or not, your ""boring day"" including 3-hour-wave-riding-session is my dream day.

You are blessed to be into windsurfing and to have such perfect condiotions every day. Many other ""mortals"", if lucky, make 30-50 days of windsurfing per year.

So, let us know how life can be perfect!
Thanx!

Kevin, hi, I check your blog daily, and I cheer for you when there is cheering to be done. Your blog is just fine. It's brave that you open yourself up to the public in this direct and unfiltered way. You come across very well - which means that you are making the right judgments about what to write and what not to write. So... keep on bloggin.

It's hard to compose a log entry everyday, but it really should be an account of your activities. Most of your readers live far from Maui, don't travel to exotic places and live much duller lives than you. If you just try and record your daily routine, it would surprise you how interesting it is to others. Photo's of buildings, people and scenery in Maui that you take for granted would excite us. If I see tourists with a camera, sometimes I'll offer to take a picture of them with their camera. That opens the door so you can either have them use your camera and take a picture of you before some landmark or you can take a picture of them for us. The same goes for your fellow pros. They may bore you, but readers of this blog would love to see them in close-up with their gear or just clowning around.

""hot groupies in small bikinis or topless! Long nites of boozing and doing lines"" HEH must be an ""anon"" poster. I think many posters here ( other then anon ) said it right. Your day is facinating to us working stiffs. Some inside info into the industry might be interesting, although I understand contracts could be confidential. How about maui and how its expanding/changing ? Maui being what it is attracts lots of ""interesting"" types. Other then gawking ""toorists"" like me. The obvious rich, the disenfrancised ( the car people down at kanaha ), the oddballs and no few amount of weirdos, ( the local guy trying to sell you dope at safeway and then a day later there he is on the hana highway 20 miles away holding a huge ""stick"" at a corner) So this being everyday maui stuff, I find is really interesting. Take some pics of this stuff, comment. A kind of social commentary, ""A day

You must talk to lots of other pros daily as well. I would also really like to hear the low down on the other riders out there + what is happenning on maui these days.

Comment on who you saw ripping, what they was doing, what they said etc as well.

Also your best of would be worth reading. best trips, best sessions. best mates, who you like to watch(on the water) etc.

You could have it read like an on going story where you just do a few paragraphs at a time about some of your trips, and just label part 1, part 2.....

You must have fantastic travel tales.

Hi kevin

your blog is nice to read and watch : report of contests , tech tips , pictures in your own style , it allow to discover more than your competitor side !

continue wandering for inspiration , don't force yourself !

tech tips about windsurfing are really interesting for me

for example there's one point that I don't understand well : I use tr3's and exocets boards and I put the mastbase at 136cm always on each with boom heigth in the middle of space for boom on the sail , and I see that lot of pro's put the mastbase more backwards and the boom higher : how do they manage the front foot pressure at high speed ? ...

That's one idea ...

have good fun this year

Thierry (I already met you in Cabo verde)
