Today we had three rounds of racing. In the first one I got second and had some pretty good speed. The next one I finished first and was super stoked with some great speed. In the last one I had an ok start and was in third and going into the second mark Finian had a bad gbye I bobbled and Antoine came inside and tapped my mast as I tried to pump out of it and my mast snapped right there. I think Antoine's boom just hit my mast enough to make it snap. I was pretty bummed.. Anyhow more racing tomorrow. Seems like my speed is pretty good. Was using the 8.4 Tr 3 and was really going good with my 122 Isonic and my 42 fin!! In the last one I probably should have been on my 7.6 but I was going so quick on the 8,4 I didn't want to change anything. Oh well.. Tomorrow is another day!

I know the dude is your team-mate... But... JEESH! Like they say, with friends like that, who needs enemas?!

What happens in a situation like that? Do you lodge a complaint with the race directors? Or is it just a free-for-all out there, with dog eat dog, no consequences (therefore, incentive!) for running over competitors?

Stay focused, there's more racing, you can do it!

kevin, you rock! whole day at work I was online reading event ticker, I guess 2nd place isn't that bad at all. :-) Still more races to go.

And I was wondering... what do you usually eat before race, or training? Do you guys at event have some special food served, or it's like in any hotel?

You've seen two broken masts this season in competition. Does that make you wonder about the masts you are using?
