Well I didnt make it into the fianl today but I finished 1st in the looser final. The worst thing was that Bjorn went out in the second round but with the way the discards works he had a less discard and ended up passing me for 2nd in the event. Ended up costing me $1500 in prize money.. oh well.. Dissapointed but third is not too bad...I just hurts a bit..

PWA just posted the Over All Rankings and if you do not compete at Sylt and Dunker wins then it is a tie for second. How do they settle ties?

Kev,

Im sure your disappointed but you are a real sportsman. I only began reading this blog over the past few events and I amazed by your upbeat, genuine personality. You are a class man and make us all very proud to follow your pro surfing and your life on Maui.

Keep the chin up and keep working at it. Sylt is only a few weeks away and I'm sure you will be a huge factor there as well.
