I think it was the lifeguards doing training with a rescue basket? Yeah the wind was pretty windy, but the waves were still very small..

Ya, nice pics. And some serious gear. When i say gear, i mean the photog. equipment! Other than getting in the water, there is no other way than a 500mm.

Yeah I am happy with my gear, except these shots were taken with a 500 with a 1.2 converter on it making it a 700mm lens. I am a bit dissapointed with the 1.2 converter as you can notice that it is not quite as crisp as without it. But I sure do love how nice and tight these shots were.
