Well that is it for me and Cabo Verde. Sailed a good heat agains Thomas Treversa and Brazino but they just sailed a bit better. Brazino made a sick air taka on the wave and Thomas had the good wave selection going for him. I had some good waves I thought, nothing special but solid enough I though. I guess those new school moves I need to learn a bit better.

Just going through New York at the moment. Had time to smell the roses...so to speak..

so how many heats did you en up sailing? from my count that would make it only 3 heats...

... a pretty long way to travel only to sail for 75 minutes.

Well at least you had two other Gaastra guys in that heat. Have fun snowboarding.

Unfortunately i did not surf with you.. but i did with Traversa in France and Browne in Brazil.. They are for sure talents and i like both their style. However, in my opinion, they had taken advantage of light wind and small waves... isn't it? (In official PWA site i saw a pic where you and Thomas are in the same wave but you have a one and a half bigger sail size).
In other condition (last year..) should be differnt..
Nevertheless it's just started.. ;-)

Good Luck!

Ale

Next time you take it Kevin!

I see in the pictures from the event that you are on a new Gaastra. Is it a Manic or a new Pritchard signature sail? What can you say about it? How does it compare to the 08 Manics?

Kind regards
Asle

Since you're in New York, do you have any comment on the NY Governor Elliot Spitzer prostitution scandal? Are any of the PWA pros, officials, judges, or sponsors, involved in any way with prostitution?

What size boards were you using? What sizes were others using?

Yeah I was actually only there for 5 days I think.. pretty quick trip. Only caught about 20 waves or so... I have been trying out some new Manic's no Pritchard pro models... as for the boards I was using my biggest 87 liter twin fin and my 85liter single fin.
