Welcome to our new site PritchardWindsurfing.com!! My brother and I have been working on making something from the both of us to kinda tie the blog and some other cool stuff into one! We are both going to be active and making this a sweet site to hang out, ask questions and live the dream.  I will be continuing my blog and Matt will be adding interesting How To's and moves as well as some EQ tech stuff. Since we are now both on the Gaastra program we figured now is the time to do it. So hear it is... Log in and send us a comment and enjoy the site. We are just starting off so bear with us for now- we will be getting some cool stuff up and running very soon.

Hey Bloggers......

Nice to see that everybody is enjoying the site! I agree with all comments and am just sending in a little bit of blog myself!

Right now I’m down in the depths of Baja with 23 eager students- we are at Punta San Carlos doing a wave camp. We have beginners as well as more advanced sailors all learning a ton of stuff. It has been super windy the past couple days and everybody is having a good ole time!

We are living in tents right on top of an ocean bluff. We are so styling you can’t imagine. We have 3 full time cooks that have been making us our meals everyday. We have an in-house photographer taking shots and documenting the action. We have a semi- on it video man that captures some of the days activities on the water- we analyze and critique in the morning and hit the water as soon as possible. All we have to worry about down here is what size sail we are going to use at any given hour. Yes, we are living the high life.

The only way of communication right now is via a satellite link that some how magically sends this email message. No phones, no stores, no traffic, no toilets, no problems- Here are a couple shots to show what kind of fun we are having....... If you want to come down next time, send us a note via the contact page. I’m trying to talk Kev into coming with me next time!!!

Matt,

Great jumps. Are those pictures of you or are they of the students? Also, is that the beach break and bombora? Seeing the rocks in the foreground, it couldn't be the chili bowl.

I couldn't make the clinic this spring due to work. If you decide to have a fall clinic again, I'll join you.

Wish I was there,
Jon

Wow, living in tents without traffic, phones, stores, toilets, but the setting with the tables and chairs look like living in some resort setting.
Must be having a good time. Would love to send my son to experience this kind of life.

BTW - let me know when you are in Singapore. Would like you to demo windsurfing to my son. It will be great if you can hold a windsurfing camp in Singapore too.
Hopefully in early 2009 as my son will be doing his Cambridge exam in Oct and hopefully he can go to HK and TH for the RSX race.

Enjoy

Hey Matt, everyone, just back in the office after spending last week at the San Carlos wave camp (second year!). We had a blast, learned tons. Matt and Kevin were great, lots of video analysis, on the water direct feedback via radio helmets etc. Wave size was great for us rookies. Started reasonable size and seemed to get bigger as the week went on, especially the last day. Could have used a LITTLE more wind some of the days especially for us heavyweights (230lbs+), I was stuck on the super\\\"tanker\\\" board pretty much the whole time, but we sailed every day so cant complain. Actually I figured it out that I have sailed 13 of 14 days over the last 2 years trips at San Carlos

Cant wait for next year! PS nice site Matt
