Had a good day today..  got to go for a stand up paddle today, and that was pretty fun. I had some fun little waves around the point of Pozo. It was perfectly glassy and two other people out  so that made it really fun. I caught a bunch of waves and it was a nice workout. After that went sailing at a place up past the airport. I dont know if I got there too early but it wasn't that great. I was underpowered and just didnt have that great of a session. I think I should have taken a bigger sail or just gone slalom sailing.. Forcast looks good for tomorrow so we will have to wait and see what the day brings. Only a couple more days left before the GC comp starts..

The move of the month seems challenging. Are backloops more difficult than forwards?

I think you've gone to the spot called Ojos de Garza... Nice bay with good waves that come in sometimes... Good luck for the event Kevin!
3"Stand-up"

This past weekend the beach/waters where I sail were crowded. People had all sorts of equipment including stand-up paddle boards. However, the youngsters that were sold on the stand-up were rather interested in my windsurfing gear in that windsurfing looks like a lot more fun when you are in light winds and making every tack and gybe. In fact, the kiters had to put up as we had a long lull in the afternoon and I could put on a show for them. (Too bad I'm not good enough for that.) Would you pay full retail with your hard-earned cash for a stand-up paddle board, Kevin?

Hey Jon-

yeah backloops are way more difficult than forwards- they are easier to initiate but once you get half way around, you are committed and coming down on top of your stuff- with the forward, all you have to do is get 1/4 of the way around and you are safe.........

Thanks Matt,

I\\\'ll have to pass on the move of the month for now. I don\\\'t want to risk having another injury this season.

That clip of Rodney carrying the rattler was pretty nice.
