In Turkey now for the last real summer event of the season. With all this time off I am ready to get into gear and do some racing. This is one of my toughest events on the big gear and the flat water. Today we had a little tune up day to get used to the big sails again. I rode my 9.0 on my 133 and it felt pretty good. I have changed to my seat harness for this event. It will be interesting to give it a try for a couple of races and see how it goes. I tried it today and now i have a sore back.. Might just be the big sails and light wind.

Tomorrow we start racing after registration so we will just get right into it. I am off to sleep and hope to have a good day tomorrow.

You should determine whether it where the pain is, lower or upper back. I find using my 9.6 gives me pains in the upper back and it has nothing to do with the harness except that it comes from not using it enough. You should have less lower lumbar (back) pain from a seat harness than a waist.
