Well it wasn't too good on day two. Well I say that and if you compare it to GC or Maui or pretty much anywhere in the world it was still epic, but not really great for competitng. So they only did 4 heats and that was it. The wave here is so perfect here one good day and you are pretty much spoiled for life. It is so good. If you have never been here and love good hardcore down the line sailing, do yourself a favor and come over here at least once in your lifetime. You will not regret it. Hands down one of  the best windsurfing wave in the world.

Looks like there is going to be a swell coming in tomorrow so should be some good action to come. The swell looks to be bigger than the last one so we could be in luck. I would like to have my boards arrive as they still havent becasue the wind is supposed to get lighter. If not the Kode will have to do the job again!

I had some more time to play around today and took some photos as well as some video from the water which I will get out to you when time permits. The last shot in this series is by JC/PWA

Agree, no 4 is bloddy awesome.
And the JC's one has the power to do something that very rarely happens: make me jelous... what a wave! Oh well, at least Hookipa is a little less crowded without you guys...
Hey, is anyone there talking about doing a freaking webcast yet?
My buddy Dave is doing a live one from Hookipa these days! (check my blog for details)

Yeah, I want picture number 4 post sized too, beatiful, excellent!

Thanks for advising your readersx to at least once in a lifetime visit Ponta Preta to (try to) ride this wave but eeuh... I suppose its pretty difficult to ride the wave and not destroy all my kit in 5 minutes :-)
It surely looks like a pros only spot to me!

I agree, number 4 is an unreal picture. My favorite I've seen in a while... and I was thinking that before I saw these other comments... its just sweet.

Can't wait to see the video you got.

Best of luck in the double elimination, hopefully you get your boards in time.

I think EdwinR has a pretty good point there...
Kevin, how difficult would you rank those wave/wind conditions in a scale from 1 to 10? And how would you rank Hookipa (so to have a reference...)?

If I was thirty years younger I would definitely consider taking a trip to Cabo Verde for the waves. However, my youth has been spent, and I can do little more than observe such great feats as you fellas are performing on these waves. You have offered us terrific still photos to view them. I thank you.
