Well that was a stressful last day let me tell you. When you can go from being on the podium or if all goes wrong, end up in 7th with one race, the pressure is on. We were pushing to get a round off, and they managed to call of 13 races before finally cancelling it for the event. Imagine after doing ten rounds and then to do the last round which really made a big difference in shifty gusty challenging conditions.. That was stress.. But in the end it didn't happen and I ended up coming third. Not too bad. When I look back there were two mistakes I made that cost me second or even the win but that is racing. Hope you guys enjoyed hearing about the ups and downs and insight into the racing. I am now staying in Fuerte for a couple days to check out the freestyle and get ready for Turkey.

Hey Kevin, congratulation for your third place!! Can you tell us what happened in the final won by Albeau when you were right behind Angulo and you fell after rounding the mark? You can also post your answer in my blog http://occasionalwindsurfinglongisland.b logspot.com/2009/07/spectacular-slalom-a ction-at.html
Also, you where you on a 5.5? What about Angulo and Antoine?

Kevin, I've been following your reports daily and they are great. Thank you for these awesome blog posts. Please keep posting.

And congratulations for the 3rd place. We'll be watching you in Alacati, Turkey. Good luck there.

BTW, please let me know if you'll sell your sails there; I've some friends who are intended to buy sails after PWA event.
